Framing the Loft Rafters

When we worked on framing the dormers with my brother Justin, we couldn’t quite finish and install the rafters before the sun disappeared behind the horizon… at something like 11am. Or at least that’s what it felt like! Stupid daylight saving time.

Anyhow, today we were able to finish installing the rafters and started strapping every single one of them.

And if it wasn’t for my brother’s performance 15 seconds into the timelapse, that part of the build would be pretty boring (lots of hammering).
