Long time no talk! I never thought being so full from Thanksgiving dinner would hinder my writing and building abilities (post about our tiny house Thanksgiving to come). Nonetheless, my brother Justin and I were able to install a couple pieces of roof sheathing.
Justin started with Liquid Nails on the rafters.
The sheets of plywood are 48 inches wide so we had to apply glue to the rafters accordingly. But, we forgot the tape measurer down on the work bench and we still have yet to acquire a ladder. So, we decided to improvise.
Once that feat was accomplished, we proceeded to put the sheathing up and screw it in.
Moving around the house is getting a little more cumbersome by the way… I need to work on my ballet/rock-climbing skills!
And voilà, the beginning of our roof!
Hasta la vista,
