I’ve been so excited for this special video because it’s an awesome collaboration with my friends in the Tiny House community. They all came together to help me celebrate my 100th video tour! You will probably see some familiar faces in this video. That’s because everyone featured has been (or will be soon) in featured video tour on my channel!

I honestly can’t believe I’ve been making Tiny House videos for six years. This blog all started as something that was just for fun. I was using it to document my journey, and I really didn’t think anyone else would be interested in reading it. I then started traveling around the country with my Tiny House, and I used my film degree to share stories of people living alternatively. About a year into my journey, people started paying attention. The blog and YouTube channel grew… and my viewers and subscribers actually wanted more!
Even after some success, I never thought that this would become my full time job. I kept odd part-time jobs for the first three years of living tiny. Finally, the blog and YouTube channel grew big enough, and made enough money, that I could focus on it full time. Today, whenever anyone asks me what I do for a living, I get tongue tied. How do I explain it? I make videos? I share stories? I’m a “content creator”….. I simply I have no words, but I do feel very lucky. In 2019, I actually had to hire a few part time editors and shooters to help me create enough content for my growing audience. This week we celebrate the 100th video tour on my YouTube channel. I have no idea how long this will last, but I’m so proud of the content we’ve created so far.
My journey thus far in the Tiny House movement has been a crazy ride, and I have loved every minute of it.
A few weeks ago I reached out to everyone that I’ve filmed (and that still lives tiny), and asked if they would shoot a dance video for my 100th video tour. I have almost 30 people submit content, and I love how it all came together! We’re silly. We’re alternative. We’re crazy, and, most of all, we don’t care if it’s embarrassing! I think that is pretty obvious with some of our moves. Thank you to everyone who watches, shares, and love my videos as much as I do. I’ll continue to make content as long as people still want it! Onto the next 100 video tours.
Well done, Jenna! You had a dream and you made it come true! I’m so proud of you! It’s been fun watching it all evolve!
Congratulations my friend …. completed 100 tiny tour videos. Amazing video really helpful. I like Tiny House.
Jenna – Your videos were inspirational in my decision to build a ‘large’ (26 foot long) tiny house, so thank you. It’s nearly complete, and I expect to be living in it by summer. I’m retired, building it entirely from a bit of savings (spent on trailer and windows) and from my social security income. And, believe it or not, it has a 12′ by 7.5′ dance floor. Yay.
Soooo happy for you!! Your videos have been so helpful and entertaining!
Just becoming acquainted with the tiny house alternative, thanks to my children who each want to build one for me and my (fairly new spouse)!
Guess we will be playing “musical tiny homes” in the future.
Finishing preference list for one trailer that has already been started!
As soon as I figure out how to subscribe… I Will!!!!!
